1. It isn’t called the iSlate, which would have been a far better name
2. I can carry an iPhone in my pocket, and use it to make calls without looking like a pretentious idiot
3. In the demo Steve Jobs gave, it didn’t have flash playback
4. Looks like multitasking didn’t make the cut. So no good for women
5. There’s no camera
6. It runs the iPhone OS, not OSX
7. The iPad doesn’t have even a single USB port
8. The battery is built-in, so can’t be replaced easily
9. It will force the Kindle to be cheaper, which is bad because that’s a terrible gadget that nobody should buy
10. Did I say the name iPap is terrible?

If you love the iphone then at first glimpse the iPad is a prayer answered. It’s a bigger version of the iPhone, it has all the multitouch capabilities, and looks so user friendly.

It also has a convenient screen size which would replace netbooks. Is it a threat to the Netbook Market?

Comparing netbooks to the Apple iPad, notebook seems to work for me as it has the Open Source capabilities. At least if you don’t the standard operating system of Windows 7, you can install what ever operating system you want  including Google Croms OS.

Amasingly Apple are allowing flash to work on the iPad. I want to run Linux. I’ll just have to wait.  A few more Tablets may be rising from the horizon if you put on display at the CES Convention, but apple has released its first. Is the iPad just an ipod touch on steroids? Pleese tell us in the comments section below.
